Endometriosis – Still a Mystery

Endometriosis  the signs and the causes of which are still partial mystery. There have been number of theories which have been helpful in providing endometriosis cure and endometriosis treatment. It is seen that there are more than 50 million women all over the world from Asia to the other parts of the world who are suffering from the chronic symptoms of endometriosis pain. Many researchers have been carried out on a global well to know about the main reasons of endometriosis and its treatment. There are various factors causing endometriosis like there might be environmental reasons, social reasons, hereditary problems and some might not have either of these factors. 1.        Genetic disorder or genetic hereditary is one of the reasons of endometriosis. And at times genes come from the family. A research says that in a family where even 20 to 30 yrs back if the women of the house be it mother or sister had endometriosis is tend to suffer from endometriosis pain 6 times more than a women who doesn’t has the problem in her family history.

2.        The transplantation theory- This is a theory which is based on the spreading of endometrial cells to the other parts of the body and putting the body at too much risk.

3.        Sometimes the cause of endometriosis can be surgery, but this doesn’t give a reason why women who have never gone through the surgery have endometriosis. And this theory was known as Iatrogenic transplantation.

4.        We have already studied that increase in estrogen level leads to endometriosis, and coelomic metaplasia is the theory which justifies that women who are undergoing the estrogen replacement therapy and are suffering from increase estrogen levels have higher chances of endometriosis.

5.        Low immunity or dysfunctional immune system is also the reason of getting prone to endometriosis. A woman who is not healthy has generally destroyed her endometrial tissues which are outside the uterus. So a woman should take proper care of her immunity level which can be monitored only through good food and healthy environment. And therefore the endometriosis if in case happens the endometriosis cure will be much easier.
